Default 550$ @ Foxwoods, Value Call?

UTG (3000)
Button (4000)
SB (16000)
BB Hero (2000)

300-600 75 Ante, 50-30-20 payout

UTG moves all in
Folded to Hero with Q5o

i have 1425 left after the blinds and antes, should i call here with the way these stacks are layed out? the big stack is ultra passive and BAD, i cannot count on him to properly apply pressure to the other stacks

there is 1800 in there

edit: UTG is a good young college age player

It seems to me that you have to call. I'm calculating that you're getting a decent bit better than 2:1.

It certainly doesn't appear to be a mistake to call. I think the bigger question is is it a mistake to fold?

now that my call was justified, i think it's a mistake to fold because i'll have 1050 chips left after posting the SB next hand

If UTG is actually a good player, they should be pushing with a very tight range here. First off you are in great shape to come in 4th. Second of all, you have so many chips in the pot that you will call very often. If they are doing stuff like pushing with a wide range here because they are short on chips, then they aren't quite as good a player as you think.

Yeah, I give him credit for a strong hand, and you can't go by pot odds because it's the bubble. I stared at this for a while and really can't find anything but a fold here.
