I don't know if this is the right forum for this (or if this has already been discussed).
I've checked out P5's and the new Cardplayer online MTT rankings, but I have always wondered why NO rankings take into account the number of tournaments entered, ESPECIALLY the ones that they DON'T cash. Now this isn't possible in live tournaments because keeping track of every entry for every player at every tournament location is almost impossible. But, PokerDB on Bluff Magazine seems to have most of the data on every player and all their entries (including non-cashes). I guess my point is that a player may have won FullTilt's Sunday 400K for 80K, but what if they had played like 500 $200 tourneys with no cashes? Then they'd actually be a losing player, correct? But on normal rankings, it looks like they are a great player because they got all those points. Anyone get what I'm saying? BTW, I randomly looked up a few of the "name" pros and their actual results on PokerDB and figured their actual winnings minus non-cash entries and some of them were still impressive and some were surprisingly not. I'm sure you can all do the same once PokerDB comes back online. |

The Bluff/thepokerdb rankings will factor in non-cashes.
And the site is back online. |

These rankings are rigged.
I prefer www.internetpokerrankings.com(I am JINXY_MONKEY) OPR and P5's are pretty good too, and I'm sure Nat's rankings will be awesome assuming I am ranked very high. |
