Only played 3 hands against villain. Should I have folded this somewhere?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) CP hand converter

Hero raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 4 folds, SB calls, 1 fold.

SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Er.... Can't fold now.

I also think you are better calling down after Villain 3 bets the flop. I can maybe make an arguement that raising the turn might get you a cheap showdown but with his aggression into you, I don't think you'd get it. So call the Turn.

Call the River because it is one bet to you and 13.5 in the pot.

Do you know the problem with an overpair? It only beats another pair or a "high card hand"

AA UTG only gets you blinds or sucked out when you raise it. Since getting sucked out sucks, just give it up preflop.

the argument would go something like this:

raising costs 2 BB or more to sd. call the # of bets here x.

calling down costs 2 BB or less to sd. call the # of bets here y.

x >= 2
y <= 2
so y <= 2 <= x

but x < y because poker math is governed by 4 a dimensional coordinate system

What are you thinking he has on the flop? What are you thinking he has on the turn? What happened on the river to make you think he had AA beat? I think you can raise the river here as well. You are more likely to see AJ - KK here than two pair or a set.

Yeah he obv has a set. I'd fold to the turn 3bet.
