need suggestion new computer/monitor

i have a new monitor syncmaster730B; how is this montor and can i 6 table ftp resizable tables with it. I need to upgrade my computer right away to be able to multi table and run pt and pah fluidly without breaking the bank...any recommendations out there to keep this upgrade reasonable..thanks

Last week BestBuy had a computer for $250, not sure what the sales are this week but worth checking out.
