I just talked to Keith on the phone! He sounded REALLY REALLY good.
He said thank you to everyone for all the love and that all his friends make him feel really good.
He's bitching and moaning about being in pain and only having jello and crushed ice in his diet, but he sounded fantastic.
He's concerned about the bike (of course) but he's just trying to do what the doctors tell him and concentrate on getting better. I told him that we're all here for him and we'll do whatever we can and his only response was "Thank you, I just hope I can ask"...I told him he better ask if he needs something or we'll all kick his ass.
I also told him a lot of his friends would be up to see him as soon as he can have visitors and that made him very happy. So..we'll let you know when he gets out of ICU.
