Default Re: Sandwich tips thread

This may be blasphemy to some people, but I have found that pre-cooked microwaveable bacon, while no substitute for the "real" thing, makes it quick and easy to add bacon to sandwiches on a daily basis. 30 seconds in the microwave and you're good to go, with little cleanup. Costco's pre-cooked bacon is quite good.

As for mustard, has anyone here tried Coleman's mustard? It's mustard powder, which you mix with cold water to create your condiment. Nice because it's customizable -- you can tweak the heat level, consistency, etc., by adding more water or more powder. And you can get it pretty damn hot, if that's how you like it. Awesome with Chinese BBQ pork, but I have yet to try it on a sandwich. (Come to think of it, a Chinese BBQ pork sandwich with Coleman's may well be a winning idea.)
