Mike Haven has asked me to explain the practicalities of getting to the point of him being able to vote, from his current standing of not being a Bodog account-holder. So here it is for everyone’s benefit.
If you don't yet have a Bodog account but would like to show your support for me and be eligible for the freeroll of up to $1.5 Million, here are the steps you need to take:
Step 1 - Sign up for an account on Bodog. This can be achieved by either going directly to bodog.com and hitting the link that says “Join” in the upper right, or by signing up through one of the advertisers in the Affiliate Forum. Bodog offers a 10% bonus on initial deposits as well as all subsequent reloads. I am not an affiliate so I do not have information on offers that they might be able to make.
Step 2 - Once you have created a bodog account, go to the poker section of the website and download the poker software. When you log into the poker software you will notice that you have already earned 50 poker points for signing up. You need a total of 60 to vote.
Step 3 – Earn ten poker points. Again you have some options. Full details on how to earn poker points can be found
here. If you were to make a deposit and play in real money games, the points can be earned by playing just a few rounds since you get one point for each hand where you contribute money to the pot and the rake is $1 or more. Partial points are given for hands that are raked less than a dollar. Please note that Bodog counts contributed hands, so you only earn points where you put money into the pot. Blinds and antes count as contributing money.
Tournament fees also earn poker points at a rate of 3 points per dollar in fees paid.
Point totals are updated every five minutes.
The final option to earn poker points can be found on the same
page on Bodog’s website. Players are awarded 1 poker point for every hour spent playing on the site (including tourneys and play money games). You do not need to ever make a deposit to earn points in this way.
Step Four – Vote for Tribe! As mentioned in Granny’s original post: To vote for tribefan9, you need to login to your Bodog account and go to the Multi Table Tournaments – Special tab. At the bottom of the list there is a tournament labeled “Vote for: tribefan9 – All Star Nominee”. These are not real tournaments and will simply serve as a voting mechanism. You need to have 60 poker points in your account to register, but you will get the points back at the end of the competition. More info on the contest can be found

I know this explanation ran a little long, but it is really very simple. Just create an account, play a little poker (try and run good [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]), and then vote. The steps that will come later include rooting me on in my quest for the final table then winning some of my money in the freeroll!
