I was watching FossilMan play in the 1M guaranteed the other day, and I saw a few hands which intrigued me. Now I know that was a tourney and this is cash, but I think there were some basic similarities.

In one hand, a player opened for 3x, which was standard. FossilMan called the raise cold on the CO with ATo. Both players were deep, close to 100BB. Both players were being solid & TAG at that time. Niether were trying to run over the table. Most hands which were contested postflop were heads-up.

Isura, please comment on the idea of coldcalling a raise in position with a top-pair-type hand, like ATo, in a SSNL cash game.
