Re: Wynn management: pathetically incompetent? or just plain jerks?
[ QUOTE ]
As a low limit player I feel much more welcome at the Wynn. On several occasions I have approached the podium at the Bellagio and felt like the person standing there was doing me a favor by speaking to me.

Ditto. I've stood at the podium patiently for 30 seconds until the guy came back. As he came back he noticed someone behind me he knew and immediately told him to go sit at the 2/5 must-move table. Then put his head down. I "ahemed" a bit and he looked rather annoyed as he looked up and asked what I wanted. I asked for a 2/5 seat and was told the game was full and he'd put me on the list.
Couple with the flippin' $200 buyin on 2/5 and there's just no attraction there for the SSNL player. Caesars, Rio, Palms, Mirage, Wynn, random other rooms at peak times all have 2/5 with rational buyins and less 'tude. And no security checkpoint to get into the stinkin' garage, too!
