i like to take a little butter spray (garlic flavored is especially nice) and throw the roll - I like my sandwiches on french rolls, but I guess bread would work - into the oven (my apartment is too small for a toaster or toaster oven).

also, I find hummus to be a delightful and healthy alternative to mayo. mostly I hate mayo.
