In example 1, I still lead turn. If I get raised, I may call it depending on which player raised and thee stats on them.

Expample two I approach the hand in the same manner. I'm more inclinded to call down with TT though.

In general, you cannot always give up when an over card comes, it costs you money. You cannot always go to town with your middle pair because that costs you money. This is where the good players thrive and the weak players lose their money.
