Although I would probably be of another opinion of personally faced with the murderer of a family member being released, I have some issues with locking humans up and throwing away the key. As for the death row, I am not morally opposed to it, however it should not be used as history has proven that innocent people do get convicted (and executed).
That said, no need to derail this excellent thread with politics, just curious as to your view since you have met and lived with many of these "abominations".
On a sidenote, how many cons serving life+ maintain their innocense?
