Default Re: Sometimes SNGs aren\'t poker: Open-Folding QQ 3-Handed?

Limp calling makes my stomach turn. I guess if you have a lot of gamble in you, like the guy that bet 5 grand that he can keep a 20% ROI at the 215's, it's ok.

More like if you have even a tiny amount of gamble in you. QQ just utterly annihilates a random hand here. If the big stack has really been a true spaz, then there's nothing to worry about.

Open folding is clearly terrible. Calling and folding to a push over the top isn't terrible but I don't think I'd do it. Pushing and limp-calling seem about the same to me, and I think limp-calling may even be preferable if it widens the range you get pushed over to include the hands that you're smashing into the ground instead of merely a lot of 3 outers.

Well have fun when he pushes and you finish OOTM 20% of the time.
