Re: What do I do?
1) Don't limp on a whim. 54o sucks. If you ever play 54o, it should be from one of the blinds when nobody raises preflop.
2) Bluffing the flop with position is not always a bad idea when you aren't going to call if anyone check/raises, when it's just a pure bluff. However, you now have a hand which really wants to see a turn card cheaply to possibly improve to the nuts or near-nuts. If you had a 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] here, I wouldn't hate the bet because you have such a monster draw that you don't mind a check/raise because you can push over it. You can't stand a C/R because your hand is weak, here but you do want to see the next card. Check.
3) I have no idea what a "standard C/R" is but when I have a terrible hand and nothing but an OESD and the BB check/raises me on a complete rag board, and I'm getting worse than 2:1 odds to call the raise, I don't call. If you are convinced that he's on a total steal, you could reraise him again. I wouldn't, I fold now. You tried a bluff and it failed, give up. You should have just checked in the first place to see if the turn improved your hand.
