Default Re: AC: The Economics of Revolutions

[ QUOTE ]
And I'm fairly sure the number of people who wish to continue using the alphabet outnumber you.

[/ QUOTE ]

So if a bunch of people in Rothbardland don't respect my intellectual property rights, they'll just steal it and use it anyway -- and I won't be able to prevent it because I'm outnumbered -- and that's somehow moral?

In other words, might makes right?

[ QUOTE ]
You think you can really convince people to go die so that you can own the alphabet? Because I don't.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll be giving my goons a cut of the profits, so I'm not too worried about convincing my mercenaries. And it's the alphabet! My sales volume will be so great, I won't have to worry about margins -- so the licensing fees won't be astronomical. Sure, most the revenue I generate will be going to the goons for enforcement, but like I said, the sales volume is going to so high, I'll still be in the black.

I especially don't think you can convince them to take on the rest of AC-land. Hope you like Antartica!

Use my alphabet without a license and you'll be on the first boat to Ross Island.
