I think a previous poster might be right. The problem might you be you not getting it up sufficiently. It might feel firm but actually be quite flubbery.
The best way to test is with the bathtowel test. You need to hold up at least one fully wet, normal sized bathroom towel towel with your junk. If you can't, it's probably you and not her.
