I can't believe no mention yet of Kate Bush



A few tidbits -
1. Basically discovered by Floyd's Dave Gilmour who paid for her first demos and recommended EMI pick her up and the rest is history.
2. First female to ever have a number one song in the UK that was self penned
3. Style is all over the place, but basically female brit prog rock I suppose.
4. Tori Amos pretty much owes her entire career to her - [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
