The correct thing to do since you are located in Canada is to take legal action against your ISP. First though you need to have some sort of documention of the robbery/loss that happen. I would suggest contacting your local authorities and have them come to your house, take photos of the scene of the crime, and possibly dust for prints for evidence. Once they have done this and you have the correct police reports filed next seek out an attorney who specializes in ISP robberies and disconnection protection or lack of. Once you get to this point it is smooth sailing. Pay any retainer that is necessary and sue your ISP. At worst cause you should at least recover like tree fiddy or more!
