The difference between my recommendations and the way he had been approaching things is that mine move him forward at a pace that's likely to be comfortable for him while getting him closer and closer to the "moves" you are talking about, all as part of a coordinated plan of action. I know you would much earlier in the process just jump in there and "tap that ass" but some of us like to take things at a little more relaxed pace. When doing that, it is important to keep focus, though, which is why having a well thought out plan is so critical.
