Eating at the table is not a problem in my games. I always have plenty of food. But I also have side tables for food and drinks to be placed on. There is only one rule regarding food and drink: It does not go on or over the poker tables. I will jump on a person immediately for violating this rule. Players know this, and know I'm serious about it, so it very rarely happens.

I find it strange that so many say no food at the table but I bet a lot allow drinks. Do you allow these on the table? Do your beer bottles and glasses not sweat or are drops of water no big deal? I guess no one's ever had a drink spilled at their game.
