Played a few turbo 45's yesterday - and felt like I was running really bad. Couldn't win a flip, and felt like I was being sucked out on left, right and centre.
So I decided to look at the raw data - I played 10 tourneys, didn't cash in any of 'em. (bubbles, FTW).
I took a look at each of them, and picked out any hand where either me or my opponent were all-in at some point. (ignoring a few hands where my opponent was all in due to an obvious pot-odds call on my part).
Of the 26 hands I looked at, 22 of them gave the 'expected' result - the player "ahead" won.
With 3 of 'em I was ahead when we got the chips in, but lost, with one of them I was behind and won.
Perception is an amazing thing - I felt like I was running horribly, but fact is, I was getting unlucky with my spots - pushing AQ against KK, and A9 against AA (and JJ).
Anyways - no real point here, hence the MTTC [censored] thread...
