I don't think he's truly klan nutbar racist. I think he's spent most of his life around one form of scum or another, and that's not conducive to having a happy sunshiny view of people in general.
If I dealt with jailbirds and iceheads all day, I'd be saying things about them that I wouldn't want printed in the Enquirer. It's not that I would feel that every member of that person's race is the same way, it's that when someone is stealing from you (as a bail jumper basically is) you aren't necessarily going to use your best words when talking about them.
Then again, maybe he's a kloseted klan kook and he needs to die in a fire. I'm just not convinced that's the case. I think he's just too stupid to watch his dang mouth.
