no its not ok. 3bet is like mandatory here preflop. Your hand is so under-repped on the turn I might call him again... After your flop call its a pretty easy 2barrell by a thinking opponent because the range he will most likely put you on is weighted heavily to hearts, pairs 44-88 and weak Kings.

Its possible he had it this time and you saved money playing it this way (this time) but in the long run taking a line this weak-tight will surely cost you money

If he calls the 3 bet preflop it changes the whole hand. Now he has to put you on JJ-AA and AKs. If he bets the flop when a king hits you can call and see what happens on the turn depending on how much. He's not going to be happy about betting again with less than AK

After you 3bet pre, he wont be leading into you too often. On a flop that brings only 1 overcard to your pair I would usually Cbet around 3/4pot and see what develops from there
