Face it, the US dominated rugby in the beginning, winning more Gold medals than any other country....up until 1924, when it was abandoned after the emergence of Pro Football....and thus, the imperfect sport of rugby was cast aside much like our stonewashed jeans, expired bags of doritos, and 1980's VHS films....given to the rest of the world in hopes they could find something to entertain themselves whilst the real men played football.
