I managed through some swindling today at the track (which offered free entry to Monmouth U students (Friday only), and free beer because some friends worked it on this rainy day) to acquire a clubhouse ticket from someone there at half price of face value and a free reserved parking pass. I'm mostly going to get trashed tailgating before hand, because I know nothing about horse racing. I am the gambling type, bet football every week, and I want something to bet on tomorrow.

Any advice? I think I got the big race ticket im going with

Any thoughts on the earlier races would be really appreciated.


One last thing. At the track they placed the ESPN commentary booth on 15 yards from the grandstand entrance way. My wasted friend decided it would be awesome to scream [censored] at them as they were live on the air. Hammer Hank was on air and my friend was yelling and screaming his name, and how much he idolizes him in a ferocious manner. The ESPN CREW was going crazy trying to quite him with hand gestures, however as you can imagine this only made him get louder. Hank loved it and went right along with it, even turned around and gave him a double fist pump at one point. Hank left shortly after leaving that Jared guy (I think that’s his name) to receive the wrath of my wasted friend. He didn't handle the situation well, sending death stares at my friend anytime he was off camera, of course only encouraging him. He then made a threatening gesture towards my friend (who's definitely twice his size) and ran to the cops to get them to kick him out. The cop however was enjoying the heckling came over and told him to just not to say anything obscene. You can't imagine how red his face got when the heckling continued for another 20 minutes.
