Irish fans don't have much to cheer about lately, especially with the sub-anemic effort the team displayed against USC. But we finally did get some good news because 5 star uber reciever
Michael Floyd from Minniapolis, St Paul committed to the Irish over the weekend. This brings brings an absolutely stacked class, currently ranked #1 in the nation, up to 20 recruits. I haven't given CW much credit for anything this season, but he certainly deserves kudos for holding together this amazing class despite the dismal season. Another WR and a couple more OLs and this could shape up to be the highest rated class in Irish history. As correctly mentioned in a previous post, Rivals.com doesn't name the National Champion, but recruiting this level of talent is an essential piece to a championship caliber program.

Now if they could just get a coach that could actually develop and coach the kids...

Bernie,
An absolutely legit question...one that Irish fans are currently wondering. We'll know a lot more about Weis's capabilities next year. With 3 full classes of his guys, he won't enjoy the same level patience with Irish fans as he has this season.
BTW, your boys are 2-5 right now...what's a) your opinion on TW, and b) is it any different from the prevailing mood of Husky fans?

2-5 with losses to Ohio State, @UCLA, USC, @ASU and Oregon. All of which they kept close until at least the 3rd quarter.

even the most extreme posidawgs have turned against ty at this point. is there any other explanation other than coaching on how a team can completely lose it in the second half of every single game? even the boise state game the huskies looked terrible in the second half.

It couldn't have anything to do with UW's FRESHMAN QB.
