If I moved into a new place and saw my roommate did that, I'd be have a pretty bad feeling about the living situation.
I know it's a perfectly rational thing to do really, but it's just not even sometimes done with most people so it's socially awkward as hell.
I share the OCD feeling with the fridge though, I make sure all the labels on crap are lined up and angled for maximum visibility, I've been caught several times just rearranging crap in there so it looks good to me.
