I'm folding this pre-flop.
On the flop if you believe your read is solid on this guy (CO), & if he will always donk the flop regardless of what he is holding you should check-raise the flop to protect your middle pair in an effort to try to get BB out of the way. I wouldn't go waiting for the turn to c/r him with middle pair, just c/r the flop then lead turn.
(note: this only applies to this specific example & is dependant on your read of CO, against an unknown this may not be the way to play it)
