A few people asked for this, so here you go.
Select "Play & Witness" in the tray menu. You'll be prompted to select a folder - this has to be the first folder in the HandHistory folder (PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory\<your screenname>
. We check if a hh file exists and if it was modified less then 5 minutes ago we leave the table alone.
Note that the hand histories start to get written to hard drive only after the first hand is over, so this is not 100% safe.
Also, it's probably best to turn this off when you're not playing.
