Re: X-Post from NVG: WCOOP ME champion is play2kill (Multi-Accounting)
What's interesting to me is the folks who seem to be saying you're either ethical or you're not. I don't see the world in such black and white terms, it appears to me to be more a spectrum of shades of grey.
Just in terms of online poker, for instance it seems to me that the active colluder is worse than the multi-accounter who will enter several accounts into a mtt who in turn is worse than the multi-accounter who only plays one account in a given tournament and only uses his multi-accounts to hide his identity.
*Shrug* I could go on and on about this, I suppose, but the morality arguments to me are worn and tired, and that the world is much more likely to be shades of grey seems such an obvious point that it shouldn't need much more exposition.
But go ahead, if you wish, tell me ethics is a black and white, all or nothing endeavor.

Edit: or perhaps I'm only hoping for shades of Grey. After all I once showed up to a cash game and found the host playing a five dollar sng online. I was the first one there and he asked me to take over so he could set up for the live game. I did and I won the SNG. I don't feel like a particularly unethical person for this one incident, but then again, I like to imagine the world of ethics isn't black and white. So what do I know.
