Re: Low SNG, meaningless 99.7% flop favorite.......
Wow... this is... mindBOTTLING.
There's only 2 ways to play poker. Way's to win money, and way's to lose money. Your way, is a losing way.
If you show action of the flop, and he flat calls, either he's got something ( flush/set ) or nothing. If he has a flush/set, hes going to want a free card. He clearly doesnt have A high flush, as you hold it, and if he had K High, he would have raised on the flop. The Q in your hand, and the J on the turn, would mean the BEST he can have ( and he did ) was Ten high flush. Which means, he cant beat a Q high, a K high, or a A high. He wont bet here. Additionally, If he has a set ( 33, 44, 77, JJ ) hes not going to bet into the FOUR hearts on the board.
Let's take that advice, and then parlay it. Assume he didnt hit a Straight flush, say he has T2h, if you bet on the turn, he's going to call. Then your pot sized bet on the river, is a bit larger, and he'll probally call that to.
He clearly cant bet into you. If you make that 250 bet on the turn, and then pot again ( 700ish? ) on the river, he's going to call you. So instead of making 500, you make 1900. Which is a big jump. You want max value when you flop the nuts. If he calls you on the flop, you keep going. He has to have something.
Please, sit down, and think about it. Im not even being mean anymore... Im seriously sitting here trying to help you. Where I play, the blinds are 4x bigger then your win for first place in that SNG.
