I'm not sure how much diving experience will help you win this bet. I guess it helps with being comfortable in the water etc.

Without seeing the area I wouldn't like to say which way I'd bet. It could be easy money for McCabe (in the sense low risk of losing, still hard work) or it could be bravado.

Given how keen he is to make this bet, I suspect it's an easy win as long as he doesn't need to poop.
