I don't think bringing up stuff that is worse with cheese counts as something that goes well with cheese.

My family used to own three Japanese restaurants, and we ate there all the time. I never saw cream cheese on sushi in all those years, and I don't think we missed out.

Just because some people will put cheese on anything, doesn't mean cheese enhances everything.

P.S.: Mole is a Mexican dish with a chocolate sauce on things like chicken, but I thought it sucked pretty bad.
