Re: London
I didn't really like London compared to all of the other European cities I have visited. One week is bearable. I would definitely go see the museums, they are awesome and free. I was there for five days, so I only saw the National Portrait Gallery, the Tate Modern, and the Museum of History and Natural Sciences (which is mostly for kids, but the first two are really cool). If I had to pick only one museum it would definitely be the Tate Modern. Also go see the major sites like Big Ben, the London Eye, bridges, Westminster Abbey etc. Shopping on in North London like that guy already said, if you're into that. People in London are convinced they have a "high fashion" sense so you may want to check that out. I actually took a bus tour which was surprisingly interesting they give you a headset and you drive around town listening to commentary about what you are seeing, you can get off the bus at any stop and get back on to pick up where you left off. Its about 20 pounds though. The benefit is if you do the bus tour early you will have a much better idea of what London has to offer and you can plan the rest of your week based on what you have already seen. The clubs in London are great, the pubs are meh, nothing special. Try to go one of the clubs that London is famous for. I also recommend walking along the south bank at night. Its gorgeous and a lot of uptight London people think its "ghetto" but they are just pussies. I'm not saying walk alone but I am confident it is very safe along the bank, and there are some cool things worth seeing with cool lighting. The ghetto areas are much farther south of the bank itself.
