You are missing the point. It's not that the events didn't take place per se, it's that their origin was misplaced by credulous people or that the event itself was exaggerated/allegory. All the skeptics here worth their salt realize that miracles are theoretically possible.

This is not a point in your favor. An overwhelming amount of the time natural explanations are found responsible for these unnamed events.
