Re: Quitting my crap job to grind 2/5+ live??
You are absolutely correct FireStorm. I am glad that your statistic is dead on.
Risk has a negative connotation for a reason. As a responsible player, I should take care to be aware of what I am writing. I failed to write that busting is ever-nagging reality.
I also failed to mention that I don't place the same values on my own life as most people do. I would not feel good about myself if someone else has destroyed their life over something that I have wrote.
But... I went on my own because I read what others wrote, watched other's do, and dreamed that I could also.
Have I lost friends over the decisions I have made during my life? Have people given me ultimatums? Have people frowned upon my addictions? Do I have regrets? The answer is yes.
I don't know what to say to the OP specifically. The usual blanket advise is "if you have to ask, then the answer is no."
Life can either be stable or not, that sometimes the better decision is let certain things go, but what can I really say to a 23 year-old with a dime in his pocket, a gleam in his eye, and a dream to make it all better? I feel that with all the noise on this thread, no definitive decision is made for the OP. So I can only say, do what you want. If six months from now, you decide to turn back, then nothing is lost. After 3 years, you better expect changes, and I think that I dealt specifically with those changes in my post.
