Re: What do you say when asked what you do for a living?
It seem it's still not always taken well enough if one says one is playing poker for a living, but that's the burden one still has to live with. There are many types of people who won't know it's possible and one never knows how they will feel about it; it seems from their look that they don't often know themselves what to think about it. It helps if they know someone who is also a winning poker player.
In case it matters more and I can get away from it, I say I am working at some place where I worked the last time and that might have been e.g. a week ago. You play full time and have a bigger problem in case you want to rent a new place or stuff like that.
