2) In your history of 2+2 you have made only one post in the strategy forums. Spend your investment there rather than risking your friend's money. If I was in the staking business you would be a very poor risk, your "credit rating" would be the equivelent of someone who is on unemployment.

this is one of the best replies i ever read on this site

I agree...because there is no way that someone with only one post on the 2+2 strategy forum could EVER be a good player...obviously all of the good information ever written about poker can be found there - and only there...

My 2 cents on this: I also have approximately 1 post on strategy forums. That doesn't mean I don't spend a lot of time studying poker. I have an extensive library of poker books (many from 2+2) which I read, re-read, and study. I also read poker strategy articles in magazines and play as much as I can to get the necessary experience (not to mention watching poker on tv which is mostly entertainment, but also allows me to think about the game). Just because I choose to participate in 2+2 non-strategy forums but spend my time actually studying poker using different mechanisms doesn't mean I'm not serious about learning to be the best poker player I can be. I feel that once I have a certain level of expertise and have read most everything I want to read, I might start spending some of my poker study time on the 2+2 strategy forums. In the meantime, I continue to enjoy the forums that are more pertinent to me: books, tv, and B&M (and a little NV&G for fun).
