yeah, seriously. I never went to college or anyting like that but how much of your time does it honestly take up?

it doesn't have to take up much if you don't want it to, but you probably won't get that much out of it if you don't put in the time. Going to school while playing poker is not advisable. You will probably do mediocre in both, or bad in one and ok in another, in my personal experience. I agree with Brian on this one.

haha yeah. Of course, Jason is right. I'm in school and playing poker and it [censored] rules and I'm happy with my performance in both.

I was contemplating making a response even more mean than this one, but instead i'll ask Jason to maybe do a little more than 'chime in' and actually make a point, because the way I interpret your argument now is that anyone with common sense could do well in both poker and school. And by well, I don't mean making ok money and getting good grades. I've gotten As in classes I didn't learn anything in using my common sense.
