i believe you are referring to the regular 10/20 limit o8 game there (my apologies in advance if im wrong).

LC used to run a plo game some years ago but broke it up. there was a group of players that would come down from like, portland/seattle/northern hinterlands that were smashing the game, just absolutely killing it, to the point where regulars were going completely broke, so they broke the game up and switched to the 4/8 and 10/20 limit o8.

this was told to me by one of the floor, the extremely good natured middle aged white guy who plays the 10/20 o8 game regularly.

btw if plo is back at LC, this is truly an amazing turn of events.

edit: after re-reading, kurt sounds really positive it was a plo game.
