So, how do you time the flyover? Are you just aiming at a precise time and hoping the person finishes the anthem at the right time?

[/ QUOTE ]Good question D. When setting the whole thing up you get a proposed time. You also send a guy or two onto the field with a radio. There is a pregame practice of the Anthem, so they have each singer timed down to the second, and your ground contact is made aware of that time. He gets, and then gives you, frequent updates as to the proposed time, and from there it becomes a rather vanilla timing problem, one that we've all worked on in training hundreds of times over. The week prior to my flyover the 4-plane of F-18's was a full 30 seconds early because they couldn't get good comms with the guy on the ground, so that not only made them look like idiots, but made me look like more of a rock star.

Also, yes, Skipper's wife is hot.
