Default Re: At what age do you not need to bring ID to buy alcohol?

[ QUOTE ]
The Mexican place in our town lost their license for 30-days after a sting operation (I think it was their third offense).

Now they card everybody. My wife and I saw a little old gray-haired lady get refused a margarita because she didn't have her ID. I [censored] you not.

The part of this story you're leaving out though, is that you can hand them an ID that says you're 15 and they'll still serve you.

When I worked at a grocery store, I think they always said to ID anyone you thought was under 27. Eventually it just became a formality, and I bet I actually found the date on like 5% of the ID's that I "checked".

23 here, and if I go into a store that they don't know me, it's about 50/50 if I get ID'ed or not.
