Cause he's great.

I think he will be. But there's a BIG difference between "the Joba Rules" and "The Torre Abuse"

That's the main reason the rules were set up, so Torre doesn't turn him into Quantrill/Mendoza/Sturtze/Proctor/Vizcaino. Admittedly, he's MUCH more talented than those guys, but they've all been burned out by overuse.

In the end, he'll be a starter come April 2008, so it won't matter much.
