looked and in California you have to be 21 unless you are working in a "bonafide eating place" (restaurant). There's no chance its illegal to ask if you're 21 and you'll probably be carded before you start.

Ya but see, this is why I'm kind of worried - what if them not carding me//asking me during the first interview means that I won't be serving alcohol (and therefore won't be getting good tips?) I guess I'll know on Monday
