Default Re: VH1\'s \"The Pick up Artist\"

[ QUOTE ]

Any thoughts on the elimination in Ep 4?

It seemed like Mystery was basically conceding defeat with Scott when he talked about how Scott was so devoted to the method, but apparently Pradeep had more "potential".

Does this mean that Mystery would say that there are some people that his method cannot help, even if they follow it whole-heartedly? If this method is supposed to help the geekiest people become comfortable with women, then why should "potential" be a factor?

The goal is supposedly to make the best pick up artist possible. So Mystery probably thought that Scott could only go so far.

Mystery (or one of the wingmen) mentioned in episode 5 that, once Pradeep opens a set, he has interesting stories to tell, he just has problems opening.

Here's a bad basketball analogy: Scott is a slow, short guy. Mystery can teach him how to shoot all day long, but at the end of the day, Scott will still be a slow short guy. Pradeep is a tall fast guy. He has trouble listening to Mystery, but if he ever did (and he has shown signs of listening) his potential is much greater.

As for episode 5, I was surprised at the elimination. I thought Joe W was one of the favorites to win.

So now let's handicap the remaining guys.

I think it's down to Kosmo and Pradeep.

Joe D's showing with the dog was pathetic and a huge step back. He may be comfortable in his body, but I don't think I've seen him have any success with women.

Brady just seems off. They described him earlier as trying to get by on his looks. But I'm not sure if he has the personality to be a "master PUA."

Kosmo has huge confidence issues, I don't know if he can cure that in time.

So that leaves Pradeep? No way, right?
