At a 6.5 -- I'd call the lead (it was around a half-pot) and hope we get a check/check on the turn and often call a small bet on the river if the river is a likely brick.

I see a *LOT* of donk min-bets in similar situations. If my hand is vulnerable (like TT) or the board is draw heavy, I tend to throw in a pot raise to take down the pot immediately.

If my hand is significantly less vulnerable, then I'll usually make a smaller raise -- I want to bring the donk along, but at least make him pay to draw to a raggy 2pair, gutshot or whatever he thinks has value draw-wise.
