Jet Li's Fearless - I was actually really surprised to find that I enjoyed this. I thought this was going to be another brainless action flick, but there's actually a semblance of a plot here.

The Prestige - loved it. Like others have said, it's hard to tell what's coming next.

Half Nelson - I agree with some posters above, Ryan Gosling is a fantastic actor. He was also phenomenal in a movie called 'The Believer', where he plays a Jewish neo-Nazi.

The Bridge (GG Bridge suicide doc) - I was actually kind of disappointed in this. I mean, it was pretty good, but I guess just not as great as I was expecting.
