A lot of times I'm tempted to shortstack just because it's easy, robotic, tilts the regs, and so many people play absolutely horribly against them. Not to mention I could 12 table and get some serious hands in.
That thread in MSNL from a while back was pretty interesting. People hate shortstackers so they spite call them and stuff and don't bother doing the math to figure out what's going on which is what makes the shortstackers stick around anyway.

These are exactly the points that prompted me to take a closer look at the idea of shorstacking. With the far more mechanical/simple method of playing, you could get far mroe tables in with the same level of concentration/effort. If you could maintain a winrate of even 1ptbb/100 playing 12 shorstacked tables of 2/4nl, you'd be looking at some pretty decent cash. By my numbers, it would be about $72 per hour BEFORE factoring in any fpp/vip benefits and those would be pretty substantial.
