It should actually be more like 14.3% ( 1 out of 7 )

7 times you pay $50 for a chance to win a $350 pot.

(350 - 7*50)/7 = 0

If you win 1 out of 6:

(350 - 6*50)/6 = $8.33 profit per attempt on average.
