I realize doing Smith squats in general are bad, but since I'm back at school I've been seeing some uber-retarded crap with Smith Machines. People stick their feet out like 1-2 feet in front of the bar, lie their neck on the maxipad, and with their hands at their sides, do like 1/8th squats. This just seems like it's one of the worst things you could do.
